| Aspect | My Experience at Escape Lounge (PDX) | How It Shaped My View |
|---|---|---|
| First Priority Pass Lounge | Escape Lounge, Portland | Set a realistic but positive baseline |
| Lounge Design | Modern, clean, good-looking space | Helped, but PDX itself already looks great |
| Crowding | Calm, quiet, easy to find a seat | Huge contrast vs major hubs |
| Amenities | No showers, no toothbrushes, no toiletries | Clear reminder this isn’t premium-tier |
| Food (Breakfast) | Basic fruit, oatmeal, simple pastries | Fine, not impressive |
| Alcohol | Mimosas available | Small but meaningful win |
| Overall Feel | Relaxed and comfortable | Better than the terminal, not luxury |
Bottom line: My first Priority Pass lounge being the Escape Lounge in Portland gave me a good but grounded introduction. The space looked great and felt calm, but that was partly because PDX is already a well-designed airport. The food was simple, there were no showers or toiletries, and nothing felt “luxury”—but the mimosa and quiet seating made it a clear upgrade over the gate. That experience taught me what Priority Pass does best: a clean, pleasant place to wait, not a full-service lounge.
